After a long wait, the second season of Jujutsu Kaisen has finally been released with a great animation. The second season of Jujutsu Kaisen anime series adapts the Gojo Past arc also known as Hidden Inventory arc or Premature Death arc. This arc is mainly focused on Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto.
The first episode of the second season is titled as “Hidden Inventory”. Overall, this is the 25th episode of the anime series. MAPPA studio has animated this season of Jujutsu Kaisen, and they have done an awesome job. The animation looks so amazing.

The anime starts by showing Suguru Geto exorcising and absorbing a spirit. He swallows the spirit and describes that the taste of the spirit is like a dirty rag that has been used to clean up shit and vomit. We know that Suguru Geto is a villain as shown in season one of the Jujutsu Kaisen. In this episode, it is shown that he was not always like that. He became a Jujutsu sorcerer to save others but one event changed that (anything about the event is not revealed). Then, the past arc begins.
Two girls, Iori Utahime and Mei Mei, who are Jujutsu sorcerers go to a haunted building to exorcise the spirit. The anime certainly has dark and scary vibes until Gojo Satoru appears. The appearance of Gojo Satoru makes the moment cheerful and humorous.
The episode gives info about a main entity of Jujutsu Scorers, Lord Tengen. He has such an enormous amount of power that all the Jujutsu schools, the barriers that form the foundation of Jujutsu society, barrier techniques of the assistant supervisors are all strengthened by him. His power can even become threat to mankind.
Lord Tengen possesses the cursed technique of immortality but it is not eternal youth. Hence, after reaching a certain age, the cursed technique begins rewriting his body. Because of this, his body will evolve and he can become a higher form of existence. But according to him, state of being has no will and he wants to remain as himself. So, every 500 years, he finds the Plasma Star Vessel (Someone who is compatible with him) and comprehends them, overwriting the information of their body. By renewing his body, he resets the cursed technique and avoids evolution.
Lord Tengen has found a Plasma Star Vessel who is a young girl. But her location has been leaked and there are two major groups who are after her life. One group is the Curse User Group Q which seeks to destroy Jujutsu society with Lord Tengen’s rampage. Other group is the Star Relegious Group (also known as Time Vessel Association) which worships Lord Tengen as a god. The other group do not want an impurity (the girl) to blend with him, so they are after the vessel.
Gojo Satoru and Suguru Geto are assigned with the task to protect the young girl who is going to be comprehended by Lord Tengen after two days. Group Q combatants try to kill the girl already but Geto Suguru protects her at the end moment.
The episode ends by introducing a new character whose name is Fushiguro (formerly a Zen’in, now he has taken his wife’s name). As we know, in the present time, we have a first year student, Fushiguro Megumi. So, I think there must be some relation between the two; Fushiguro and Megumi, maybe a father-son relationship.
Someone, who may be the member of Star Relegious Group, assigns Fushiguro with a task to assassinate the young girl and he agrees to do so. He seems to be a powerful character. It will be interesting to see how the story further proceeds in the next episode.
