TFT vs LoL – Which Game is Easy?

Achieving anything meaningful is hard, whether it’s getting your business up and running smoothly, or whether it is getting in a sound body shape. Getting a good rank in your favorite competitive game is hard to achieve. However, the difficulty of achieving is highly based upon the individual. Some might find starting and running a successful business way easier than some while some people get in shape much quicker and easier than others. Similarly, there are some gifted players who can achieve the highest rank their favorite game has to offer in a matter of weeks.

TFT vs LoL

The point I am trying to make here is that the difficulty in achieving something’s meaning lies behind the perceiver and if something is hard for you to achieve it might not be for others and vice versa. Some games are harder than others objectively whether somebody likes to admit it or not. For instance, let’s compare the two games from the genre to make the comparison even more interesting. So Tekken 8 is objectively harder than Street Fighter 5 because in Street Fighter the skill ceiling of the characters is not that high and the blockage area is pretty well-rounded.

On the other hand in Tekken 8, there are tons of Overpower characters with different variations and the blockage is nonlinear so the amount of hits you can block is limited. If we do another comparison of the game from the same genres or rather from the same game studio then it is going to prove my point even further. So let’s talk about Team fight tactics VS League of Legends in depth and find out which game is harder and why.

League of Legends

So firstly let’s talk about League of Legends which is also the most famous game on the planet as of right now. It hosts around 10 million players daily, which is more than 10 times the size of the player base of any other game in the world. Apart from that, League of Legends is also considered to be a highly addictive game with a recent study showing that around a third of the player base of the game has shown signs of addiction. League of Legends is an online battle arena and it is heavily inspired by another battle arena game Called “Dota”.

League of Legends (LoL)

League of Legends is one of the hardest games to be good at. It has complex systems in place to maintain and rank the players according to the skill set they have. The game also has hundreds of different heroes to choose from. Each of those heroes has a different play style, different timings, and different strengths and weaknesses.

Apart from that, the game is also extremely hard and tedious to learn especially if you’re a beginner. For new players learning the game is going to take a lot of time and effort to get things right. You would have to learn about the attack speeds, the attack patterns, the combination of items, map awareness, and dozens of other things to be good at the game. Even With its steep learning curves, a relatively toxic community, and being extremely hard for beginners the game still gets hundreds of thousands of new players every day Which is kind of surprising considering that Riot does not aggressively market the game to new players.

Teamfight Tactics

Teamfight Tactics is another game from the developer of League of Legends. Riot has been making hit competitive games like no other company. They have the most popular multiplayer game on the planet. Not only that, they also have Valorant under their belt, which is an industry giant in the first-person tactical shooter space. And now they have added Teamfight Tactics to their accolades, making them one of the greatest competitive game developers in the world.

Teamfight Tactics (TFT)

Teamfight Tactics is an online multiplayer auto battler. The game revolves around spending gold and flipping a deck of cards to get heroes. Then, you have to draft the heroes strategically and place them accordingly, letting them fight to the death and be the last one standing. That’s about it — and since the game is an auto battler, the part you play is all about strategic drafting and positioning, which makes the drafting phase of the heroes extremely important.

For players looking to improve faster or climb the ranks without constantly struggling, many are now turning to TFT coaching and boosting services. Coaching helps you understand meta compositions, gold economy, and positioning in depth, while boosting allows you to reach your desired rank without the grind — especially when time is limited or the meta changes too often.

But unlike League of Legends, the game is easier to get a grasp on and you can learn a lot in your first few matches. That doesn’t necessarily mean the game is easy or non-challenging. Teamfight Tactics is an extremely hard game because not only do you have to draft heroes randomly every match, but you also need to guess the opponent’s comp, manage gold efficiently, buy and upgrade champions wisely, and understand positioning and team composition strategies. And just when you get comfortable with the basics, Riot drops a new set and flips everything on its head.

Verdict

Now that you know almost everything about each game. Their strengths, what makes them difficult to master, how complex they are, and how much time you need to put in to start seeing results. Now let’s answer the question about which game is easier. Is it League of Legends or is it team fight tactics. The answer is That “Team Fight Tactics” is an objectively easier game than League of Legends. Due to the reasons that it is an auto battler, it is slower paced than League of Legends, has less complex mechanics in place than LoL, and also does not require you to make decisions in real-time and the list goes on and on.
